Jeff entered the Big Brother Hoenn house as a newbie to the series. His pre-established connections to others in the game paired with his numerous alliances made it easy for him to get far into the game un-nominated. In fact, Jeff was only nominated for the first time at Final Three despite winning zero HoH competitions the entire season. At the end of the game his veto wins helped to keep him off the block and also help him to keep around both Elijah and Zach for as long as he could. One of the most pivotal moments of the game was the Veto Ceremony during Week 11 where he was tasked with using the veto to save either Elijah or Zach. At an emotional Veto Ceremony, he decided to save Elijah, hurting Zach in the process. Ultimately, Zach stayed at eviction and the two got back on good terms. It was at Final Four when Jeff won the Veto that he had the option to evict either Nic or Zach and he decided to evict Nic, further poisoning the jury against him and keeping the obvious front runner in the game. Despite losing Part 1 and 2 of the Final HoH Competition, he was still taken to the Finale by Zach who won over him by a close 5-4 vote.
